2 months agoMy son is about to turn 2 so you can imagine haircuts for him are hard. Not only did they go above and beyond giving him a lollipop to distract him and turning on cartoons, but they did his hair EXACTLY like the picture I showed them AND they fixed the nasty double layer and weird bangs he had going on from a different salon who didn’t know what they were doing. I will only be using this barber shop for my son from now on! I would give this place 100 stars if I could!a month agoFantastic experience all around. Easy to contact and get an appt. It was my first time at the shop and felt instantly welcomed and comfortable. Many stylists/barbers, great barbershop vibe, and even beverages to enjoy if time permits. Affordable price allowing me to leave a healthy tip for the stylist as well. Recently moved back to Erie and ecstatic there’s a quality barber nearby. Would recommend for appointment versus walk ins as they seem quite busy. 5 months agoI called ahead and asked, “Are you still accepting walk-ins for today?” The lady replied with, “We close at 6 tonight, but if you get here by 5:30, we’ll be able to cut you.” I hung up the phone, drove all the way to Sports Clips (Pittsburgh Avenue, Erie, PA), and walked up to the front counter inside. The female employee looks at me and asks, “Do you have an appointment or did you check-in online?” I reply with, “No. I called before I drove here and the lady on the phone told me if I get here by 5:30, you’ll cut me.” She then promptly replied, with a slight sarcastic tone, “Oh, no. We’re all booked up until we close tonight. You can come back tomorrow though.” What? Horrible customer service. Did she not just hear what an employee of Sports Clips told me over the phone?! I ended up driving about 1/10th of a mile down the road, and around the corner, to get my haircut and beard trim at Super Cuts. I looked like an entirely new man after the stellar beautician finished her work. She got a decent tip from me too. Sports Clips – word of advice – don’t turn a potential customer away with false information over the phone. Everyone was inviting and incredibly nice. They did a great job and it was quick! Highly recommend.3 months agoChecked in on the app. had a 33 wait time. Drive there had 19 minutes left when I signed in. Was second on the board. Went down to 14 minutes. The first guy on the board went back and another guy came in and signed in and his name jumped mine on the board and my wait time went to 38 minutes. I also received a text message while sitting there it would be 15 minutes. It stayed on 38 minutes for over 10 minutes and then they called the guy who jumped me on the board back. After waiting for the original Al 33 minutes, my wait time was now 38. I attempted to rap to them and they didn’t want to rectify the situation, but instead attempt to tell me this was how it works. I then attempted to file a complaint with the manager and was told no. This was very unprofessional and just terrible customer service.10 months agoMonica did a great job of cutting my hair and making me feel comfortable. She delivered exactly what I wanted and it didn’t take too long. Great experience, will hopefully be coming back next time I need a haircut!4 months agoNice for getting a haircut without an appointment. If you want cut at opening make sure you’re there early as the queue does get long.

10 months agoMy son needed his hair cut for homecoming and a couple of his friends recommended the place. We walked in without an appointment and they fit him in. If you don’t want to take the chance or wait, make an appointment. It was in the afternoon and it was busy, all the chairs were filled and 90% of the waiting chairs were occupied. There were kids getting cuts and men getting their beards groomed. Everyone was friendly and professional.
