a month agoMy sons and I have been seeing Jared for years! Not only is he an amazing barber/ hair artist, but he knows how to treat hair, scalps, beards, etc. When Jared gave my 2 year old son his first haircut, we showed him the horrible cradle cap he had. He had cradle cap for a year and it was only getting worse. Jared recommended the Barber Shack Beard Oil to use on his scalp, and WOW!! All it took was using it a few times and the cradle cap was cleared-for good. I would spray it on my finger tips and massage it into his scalp. I’d let it sit and then wash it out in the tub. It works wonders! I also use it on my chin and scalp monthly and it helps with keeping the dryness and itchy scalp away. It is worth it to purchase this the next time you’re at the Barber Shack! All staff are friendly and it’s the best haircut place in Bellingham!a month agoMy barber was Sheri. She did a FANTASTIC job! It was quick and beautifully done. She was very kind and generous, good conversation while still paying attention to what she was doing, sense of humor. I will definitely be coming back and requesting her specifically. In regards to the other staff and the building it’s self…amazing! It’s so unique and colorful! Lots of different decorations, great music and all the customers getting their hair done before mine looked great! I now have my go to spota year agoHad a pleasant experience as a walk in. Being a trucker living in Las Vegas NV. I needed a hair cut and shave like ASAP. Manager was full of friendliness and full of knowledge. Shop had a few rooms with hair stylist in every room. Music was a great treat while waiting. Thanks guys and Kudos to you!!6 months agoFriendly staff, cute place, but single-handedly the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I was not facing any mirrors in the chair at all, and I also wasn’t shown the back of my hair at any point (the reason becoming obvious as soon as I saw it.) I came in asking for a cut with some minor alterations for a hairstyle I already had. What I got instead was unevenly cut hair so horribly appalling that I had to continue cutting it myself when I got home. I’m not a stylist, but I’ve gotten my hair professionally cut enough times to recognize unprofessional technique. But hey, I only have to wait 6 months for it to grow out again so someone else can cut it, right? This cut would not even be worth it on their half-priced day.3 months agoI made a online reservation through their website at 2:30 with Katie. I walked in just shy of 2:30 and was greeted, asked to sign in and take a seat, Katie would be right with me. 5 or so minutes go by and my name got called to come back but turns out Katie couldn’t get to me even though i had a appointment. Which was actually a blessing! Stephanie took her pace and gave a me fantastic haircut in record time. I have never had a go to person to cut my hair just whoever was available. Until now. The funny/witty conversation was just a bonus

2 months agoCute barbershop ? pretty big actially, tons of chairs and 4 barbers working so we didn’t have to wait too long. It’s ran by a pleasant woman and all female barbers.Surprising they had allll kinds of snacks and treats, as well as water ? so no one’s going hungry or thirsty while you’re here ha ha! The gummie bears are from Germany so they’re more fruity Haribo than what you’d normally find anywhere, nice treat while you wait that is for sure.
My bf got his undercut done, hair trimmed and beard shaped. They even used a vacuum to suction up the last bit of hair, pretty thorough I must say lol ?

4 weeks agoAbsolutely one of the best experiences I’ve had when getting my haircut! For the longest time I’ve been looking to find a place that would be my go to for a haircut and this place is it! Such a welcoming place! And everyone is very kind! The person who cut my hair was Deanna and she did a fabulous job on my hair! 10/10 this place is the way to go!!8 months agoTook my 5yo son here to get a lightning bolt haircut. They made my son feel comfortable and welcome and he got a little toy afterwards, he was pumped. The hair cut was a hard part with a perfect zigzag across one side. They nailed it! Mom was not pumped on the bolt, but it ain’t her hair.a month agoWaited for 45 minutes for a haircut. None of the 3 guys in front of me got called up either. The music was grating as I continued to wait….I just don’t understand how a simple fade can take so long
5 months agoI had a fantastic experience! Ariel did my hair as a walk-in. Instantly knew the style I was looking for. She did an amazing job! The atmosphere is semi old-school baber shop with a family feel. I found it to be a great place and will be returning in the future.
