a month agoThere was a long wait, but staff was absolutely fantastic. The staff kept offering water, they repeatedly thanked the waiting for their patients. Once it was my turn the staff was friendly and she was led me thru the process so I had no questions. The process was quite speedy. After I was offered more water and a snack. They were professional and friendly.3 weeks agoI had to come here for a contaminated needle stick injury. I’ve gone in for blood work and my hep B vaccine which is a series. The staff gave me my first dose and in my follow up visit the Dr. repeated himself with my test results he informed me of in the previous visit and said we need to start the vaccine. I told him they already started the first one last visit and he looked at me like I was crazy. He had to go back through my file and find the documentation. So either they didn’t document properly or he didn’t bother to check my file thoroughly. My recent blood work visit, the lady (I didn’t get her name) taking my blood, stabbed both arms multiple times and caused extreme pain. She said she couldn’t get the blood to flow out of my veins…I’ve never had problems giving blood before. She also forgot to use alcohol wipes when switching arms. Ashley ended up coming in to take over and took my blood just fine!a month agoFirst I would like to say that the employees were very nice however the music was way to loud for an urgent care & music choice of hip hop playing was not appropriate for an urgent care in my opinion. I am a nurse & found it very inappropriate. I went in to have my annual tb test & was poked 6 times only to have to return the next day for another attempt. I believe the medical assistants need more education as I had to remind the 2 medical asst. who attempted to draw my blood, to use an Alcohol prep prior & what needle gauge to use & found myself providing them education. This is an urgent care & although the staff was nice there was a lack of professionalism from the staff (from the exaggerated long eyelashes, long nails, big hair & also bright hair color) which quite honestly have no place in the medical field.a month agoSuper friendly, in and out fast. Didn’t make me wait forever where you are going to piss your pants! Also they didn’t come across as A-holes as many of the U.A places do. I would recommend this place if that’s something you need to do.4 weeks agoI had to wait for about an hour and a half and my simple exam took close to an hour just to be told I needed another exam. The front desk staff were quite pleasant however.

4 months agoI was visiting from out of state and got horrible strep throat—to the point that I could barely function. I made an online appointment with this location 8:00am, they got me in at 10:00, and was welcomed in when I arrived with zero wait. They explained detailed costs, and I was examined, tested, given the proper medication (with a juice box), and was out the door in less than a 30 minutes. It was amazing and exactly what I needed.Emily actually LISTENED to me, empathized and treated me like a human. She was on top of it all, testing me for all possible causes, including Covid.
I left 100% relieved and started feeling better within hours. She pulled me out of the worst case of strep throat I’ve ever had in my life, allowing me to fully enjoy the rest of my trip. ??
5 months agoThis place was my go to all the time. I went today to take my son for an eye infection and I was refuse service, the reason is because we got a secondary insurance that is not in contract, I ask to pay in full with out insurance and still deny service they don’t care about you health just political non sense7 months agoThey have a 5min late policy and I showed up within that window and they made me reschedule. Joanne is inconsiderate and rude. I showed her the email saying MORE THAN 5mins late. She told me not to fight with her when I was just trying to explain why this was wasn’t okay. THE CORPORATE OFFICE EVEN AGREED IT WAS ONLY IF IT WAS MORE THEN FIVE MINUTES. The other people were very understanding and kind. They treated me like they care and how a patient should be treated.10 months agoHad to go here recently and because of their online scheduling system there was no one else here but me. It’s awesome! The nurse was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong immediately! This is the kind of swiftness and service I wish we could expect from hospitals! Thanks so much for being the best!!!— Edit, adding: Actually they have an online chat system for follow up questions after your visit. This was hugely helpful and the nurse who was available online was also a major help in relieving stresses and answering important how-to questions! I am so grateful for ZoomCare’s top-notch care!!! a year agoAmazing experience. I am resistant to going to the doctor but absolutely had to for an injury. The experience with ZoomCare was way better than expected. Smooth, efficient, timely, and the staff was kind. The assessment was quick and they were able to issue the necessary referral and medication immediately.

a month agoWe have had only amazing experiences coming to AFC. Starting with reception…. They are warm, welcoming, and greet you with a smile. It’s much easier to walk into a Dr. Office when greeted kindly. The nurses/medical assistants are very kind, as well as the Doctors we’ve seen. We have came in about 4x to have my son and niece and nephew seen. They are great! I highly recommend AFC Urgent care. It’s easy to make appointments online, and they get you in and out pretty quickly.a month agoI had chosen this urgent care based on Google reviews, and walk in availability. But was SO pleasantly surprised on just how great of an experience it was. I came straight from work, not feeling good and in a lot of pain. Plenty of parking. Walked into a super clean modern clinic. They got me set right up, registration was super easy and a total breeze, and didn’t have to wait a really long time to be seen. The entire staff, from front desk, nurses, doctor, were so kind and great. This will definitely be my go to urgent care facility from now!a month agoSuper quick, kind, and respectful. Allison at the front desk was thorough and patient. The nurse, was great. She was great at communicating everything. Dr. Shockley (I think!) Was great with my daughter. If a need for urgent care arises, we will head back here.in the last weekI was referred to AFC Urgent Care from another urgent care facility that did not accept my out-of-state health insurance. We had just spent 10 hours on the road from Montana where my sister had tested positive for Covid. When we arrived at her home, I immediately took the test, and found that I was also positive. Angel and Angela were the first people I talked to when I arrived at the desk. They immediately put me at ease. They texted me a link on my phone and I was able to complete the admittance process quickly and easily. It wasn’t long before I was in a room when Angela took my vitals, and I waited to see Eric, the nurse practitioner. We discussed my symptoms and my concerns over my ability to fly home on a flight scheduled in a week. He prescribed my medication, and they were able to give it to me there, which was fantastic, because by then it was after 8 PM. I can’t say enough good things about their kindness and obvious dedication to their work in the healthcare field, making people feel reassured and removing all anxiety from the situation. In addition to everything else, the facility was spotless and inviting. 5+ Stars!!! Thank you, again, Angel, Angela, and Eric! Sending virtual hugs!6 months agoOMG Allison and Rachel were awesome. They got all my paperwork done quickly and were so friendly. The office was clean and neat. But those two young ladies were great. I’m from PA so the they really made me feel welcome.I had my appointment and it was just as good as my front desk experience. Katie a took my history and Dr Burton got right to the issue and Shelesa well she got my prescription and my x ray scheduled right away.
