a week agoMy first time experience at this urgent care was awesome!!!! The front and back office staff were friendly which goes along way when you aren’t feeling well. The wait was minimal for a Saturday late afternoon despite there being patients waiting. The PA was very knowledgeable and advised me of every test, results, reviewed medications and allergies. I would definitely recommend this group. Also would recommend completing the online forms prior to your first time visit.2 weeks agoThe wait was reasonable and the staff were polite and professional. Dr Green was personable. He was thorough and quickly and accurately assessed the problem. I was so glad to find a capable doctor on a Sunday morning. Beat sitting hours in the Emergency department.a week agoOffice worker withheld supposed test results out of anger and vindictiveness.I received a call this evening, 9/7/2023 at 6:40pm from this urgent care. The woman, who did not give me her name, immediately started asking me to verify personal information without telling me anything about the purpose of the call. I had not been in to this urgent care for over a month, so I had no reason to expect a call from them. I asked her what the purpose of the call was, and her response was, “well I have results for you but if you don’t want them, that’s fine” and then immediately HUNG UP.
I called back and was instantly disconnected. I called back once again and the phones were being sent directly to hold, where I stayed for close to 20 minutes with no answer. Essentially, this woman who is in charge of medical information got personally offended when I simply asked what the call was about, and in response she told me I had test results and then prevented me from receiving them. Imagine thinking it’s OK to give a patient, who is under the care of your team, vague, anxiety-provoking information regarding test results and then withholding them out of pettiness. NEVER in my life have I experienced customer service like this from a McDonald’s, let alone a medical facility. Needless to say, I will not return to this urgent care until they learn how to hire staff with a basic level of human empathy.

in the last weekVery disappointed in the staff here. One person in particular. Zero compassion or bedside manner. Cold and flat. Front office staff did their job when I came in. Nothing negative or positive to say about them. The assistant that took me back to my room was friendly and seemed genuinely warm. I was there with flu symptoms so when she asked if I wanted a covid test I said2 weeks agoWe will not go to this urgent care again. We have been there a few times. The prices are fair if you are paying cash. But, office staff is unfriendly and the doctors have terrible bedside manner. They have you fill out and online form when you check in, they do not look at any of the info and then ask you all of the information again when you get into the room. They also have you take vitals including height and weight on some machine. They then rewrite you and then ask you your height when they finally call you back. I recently took one of my children in for an x-ray of their foot. We were told it was fractured that we need to see an orthopedist in case he needed surgery. When checking out I asked for a copy of the x-rays. I was told that they could give me a copy after the radiologist reviewed them in a couple of days. I called back in a couple of days to find out what the radiologist had said. Some sort of answering service answered and assured me that they would pass my message on and I would receive a phone call back. They did not call back so I called back the following day. The same person answered and gave me the same message. Two days later I still had not heard back, I called again and again was reassured they would call me back. I asked if I could speak to someone at the actual location and I was told I could not. Still never received a phone call after the 3rd message left. My husband decided to stop by on his way home from work to see if he could get a copy and find out what the radiologist said. The reason we wanted confirmation from the radiologist is because we have had doctors misread x-rays in the past. They told him they had not yet submitted the x-rays because they were too backed up.

in the last weekVisit went quick. Friendly staff and the doctor took time review my symptoms and prescribe medications to help. Would definitely choose Armstrong Urgent care over many places I’ve been in the past.a week agoTook in my 5 yr old who was crying that his ear hurt (and of course it would be on a Saturday). Figured I better take him in (and he even asked to go… what 5 yr old wants to go to the doctor??), in case it was an ear infection. Had a bit of a wait in the exam room (30 mins), but there were several people ahead of me, so that’s understandable. Within those 30 mins, I realized my 5 yr old had pulled a fast one on me (he was acting completely fine by then) but I figured better safe than sorry. The doctor was very amicable, and even though we both knew I had been bamboozled, he was still very thorough, in case it was something else causing his ear ache. The staff was friendly, and the doctor was patient and understanding, so it didn’t sting so much that I really was paying for peace of mind today, haha. Thanks Armstrong Urgent Care!2 months agoGreat staff! I was a walk-in and they were able to see me within 15 minutes. My doctors were both men, but as a woman, I felt comfortable and relaxed. They were extremely professional and understanding. They did not make me feel like I was a dumb person with a preventable problem and answered my questions sincerely. Thank you again.4 months agoAs a first time patient, the front desk staff were very nice in taking my information. Amber, who took my vitals was very sweet and professional. Dr. Gill has a nice and calming way of asking questions, explaining the cause of my situation and preventive measures. The process of being checked in, to be examined and given a prescription went smoothly and in a timely manner. If a person and first time patient looking for an Urgent Care to go to, I highly recommend this place.5 months agoI read the reviews on Yelp on this urgent care before I made my appointment. The reviews were raving and they were on point. Reception was welcoming, cordial and efficient. Especially impressed with Dr Jill. Good bedside manners and a good listener. He wasn’t rushing me and gave me the chance to explain my concerns. I also saw I believe their nurse practitioner. Equally impressive. Thank you for making my visit less anxious!

a week agoIt was 530, and I knew they closed at six. I called and spoke with Raj, and she said that if you come down right now, we will see you before the x-ray tech leaves. They were able to do a chest x-ray, draw multiple vials of blood for different tests that were needed, and the doctor was able to see me within a very short period of time. A total of 90 minutes from when I left my door to when I returned home. Which includes 30 minutes of drive time. Very efficient! and I loved working with Dr. Dhaliwal.2 weeks agoThis place is amazing. The girls are great and Dr. Gurdaver Dhaliwal, MD is one of the best. Always goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is an all around wonderful family Dr. Was as great with my kids as he was with my husband that hates going to the doctor and they do X-rays. Thank you Clovis Urgent Care for being a place we can trust and count on for urgent care needs.5 months agoReception staff was friendly kind , best service I ever have received from reception , Nurses and Both the Doctors was amazing and so helpful treated my Daughter who has a complicated medical history with so much care and compassion. We have been to dokters and urgent care services from Stanford , UCSF to Cedar Sinai , today we defiantly received the best service so far from Clovis Urgent care.4 months agoThese people are crooks. They are in my policies network, and still charged me $100 towards my deductible AND a copay AND $2.70 from 3 years ago!!! I have been going here for years, and now they have a new policy that they will charge you even if they are in your network. The sad part is, I went there because I was sick, and did not feel like leaving and finding another place. How sad for people on a fixed income. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Let me add, you had my address IF I owed any money from a previous visit, you should have sent me a bill. I do not understand why you waited 3 years to collect, and I dont understand what it was even for, but again, I was sick and desperate to be seen. I hope you all enjoy gouging people that need medical attention. I would give you zero stars if I could. Even the lady from Blue shield said she had never heard of such a thing.6 months agodon’t even bother coming here. waited two hours just to be seen saying that they cannot do anything if they’re not your doctor, I needed urgent care so they cannot help you out with anything at all. they recommended me something over the counter which I could have done so myself so you’re better off googling your symptoms and at least find an answer. they don’t update you when you’re going to be seen, waited an hour in the lobby then another hour in a room all by myself, whomever saw me for my situation didn’t even wear gloves so thank goodness for to go hand sanitizers, you would think that they would be professional seeing that they’re in the medical department but most of all no help at all so you’re just wasting your time and life that you’ll never get back.
