3 weeks agoJust went in yesterday to get my hair colored and cut with Victoria and I’ve got to say by far my favorite hair stylist ever! Victoria made sure I felt comfortable and was very attentive to the colors I was thinking about and made me excited to see what the final results would look like and we talked and talked while she colored my hair! Hands down the best! I’ll definitely be going back and recommending friends and family too! Thank you Victoria, I feel amazing!!a week agoSomehow I messed up and made an appointment at this location when I meant to make one at the Colorado Springs location. I was inside the springs location when Jennifer called to see if I was coming to my appointment. The guy at the springs location was telling me about the mistake I made when she called. I felt bad I took up an appointment slot but Jennifer was extremely understanding and was more concerned with whether or not I’d be able to get my hair cut at the location I was at, even though I didn’t technically have an appointment there. So it was much appreciated. Thank you for being understanding!2 months agoIt can be difficult to find a new hairstylist. I went to Raeann Garcia for a hair color and I found a keeper! I absolutely love my hair and she did a great job fading my babies Mohawk! I hope Raeann continues working for years to come. Very pleasant atmosphere with a family vibe. The shop seems to be a neighborhood staple and I felt very welcome with my family. All of the staff members were welcoming and friendly. The whole family will be coming to this Barbershop ? They are open 7 days a week and the prices are a good value as well.4 months agoJennifer was great! She cut my 7 year old’s hair and took the time to listen and talk with him to find out what he actually wanted and explained everything she was doing as it was happening. Very attentive and a clean comfortable environment. We’ll definitely be coming back4 months agoWhen I walked in, I was greeted immediately. There were other appointments ahead of me, but Louie told me that if I wanted to wait, he had a barber on his way in and that he would be able to wash, cut and give me a shave. The barber who came in, was very attentive, and gave me a cut that I asked for, a good wash and a very meticulous shave. I am very satisfied with the level of service and I felt that I was treated like I mattered. I would recommend Aguilar’s to anybody needing any barber services, as I feel that their level of business is top notch! Thank You Aguilar’s! Eli

And I needed a few of them cut. They cut the ones I needed cut pretty good. I should have got more cut cuz some of the hairs are too long and it looks funny. Had I got all of my hairs cut it would have been better. That was my fault but the person who cut the hairs that I wanted cut did a good job cutting the hairs that I wanted cut. So I’m glad I got those cut now I have to go back and get the other ones that I didn’t want cut …..cut5 months agoEvery time I go in is great! Heather has been cutting my hair for many many years and she is the only one I go to! She always does an amazing job and is always so very kind! She is the best stylist there! We love her!!4 months agoWas able to get in for a haircut without much of a wait… maybe 5-10 minutes. Amber was pleasant and did a nice job. Wish they also offered waxing services (eyebrows) but overall a good shop.11 months agoRaquel was amazing. She was able to fade me in with a #3 and point my sideburns down and left no long hairs around my ears. A near perfect cut. I suggest Raquel for a man’s simple cut, she boss!

a month agoDid a Google review as this was my first time here. They must use a review cleaner bot as this visit was not as expected. Set up did have a good vibe and friendly atmosphere. Gave the barber my intentions, nothing fancy yet came out other than expected. Fade was inconsistent around the back and the part had been missed when trimming the top that left tons of extra long hair on the short side leaving more hair on one side then necessary. I came in with it parted how my hair naturally grows but that was ignored. Ended up having go to another barber for correction spending yet even more money. Not to mention the audacity of the barber trying to hold the change for an extra tip.. Would not recommend. Recommendation: Sports clips for the value/time/consistency in quality3 months agoI love Steel City Barber & Styling. The business is clean and well-managed. The employees are great at what they do, happy and well-supported. Jerry cuts mine and my son’s hair and she always does an outstanding job. My son is still very young and has a hard time getting his hair cut because it scares him. The staff, especially Jerry, are very accommodating and make the experience way less stressful when we have to wrestle my son to cut his hair. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. Thank you!11 months agoFirst time at this barber shop. The set up is nice. Friendly environment but we came in as a walk in. Patiently waited got called to a chair. My sons hair was a good 4 inches long on the side. We showed the barber a picture of a low drop fade and that is not what was done. It looks like he used a 0 guard all the way around. I was super disappointed.
