  Booking my appointment with Neno Clips couldn’t have been any easier. I was able to see which barber I wanted to cut my son’s hair and read a story about why they wanted to be a barber. It made me feel like new the barber before walking in. The shop is always kept clean and their customer service is the best around.

  Neno and his guys crushed it! I brought a group of my grooms men here for a cut and shave and we were really satisfied. Neno is a solid owner and provides a quality, fun experience at a reasonable price! One point of feedback is one of the guys was on the phone the whole time – not a great look for customers, even though there was a language barrier.

  I moved to Norwalk recently so I have been looking for a reliable ,affordable and clean barber.

  I was reviewing barbers near me and I saw Nano’s Clips & Shave so I went there twice to try to different barbers.

  I will start my review by starting with the barbershop. The location is really close to downtown SONO.

  There are plenty of parking meter spaces in front and the back of the building. The cool things is that you are able to pay from your phone or via quarters. Barber shop had quarters ready for the costumers in case you didn’t have some which is a plus.

  The spot is clean , music is not to loud which is nice, they have a vending machine for drinks and an atm as well (they do accept cash and cards).

  Nano (the owner) was there the second time I went. He was really friendly and always made sure the costumers were comfortable. He seemed like a great guy,I will ask him to be my barber next time and I will add some more to my review.

  Since I went there two times I had two different barbers.Both times I showed up with no reservation and was accommodated within 20 min.

  First time my barber was Eric , he was a really good barber and did meet my exceptions. I got a haircut as well as beard trim for 35$+ tip which is reasonable price for this area.Everything won’t well the only thing he did not provide was the hot towel which is included in the price.

  Today was my second time and my barber was Joendri , he gave me a really nice haircut and a beard trim and in the end he gave me a hot towel which was really relaxing and made sure I was comfortable the whole time which was really nice.

  Overall my experience was great and I will be back and this time I will try Nano.

  I highly recommend this barber if you are in Norwalk and need a haircut.

  It was hard for me to figure out my rating for this review. The truth is I’ve had mostly 5 star experiences at Skull & Combs. Customer service is always top notch. Cleanliness, communication, etc., is generally great and they’re easy to schedule and r/s with when necessary. The four star rating is because I didn’t get a great cut when I visited this location. I did get a good cut, but not a great one, and at $50ish (with tip) for a barber cut, I do want it to be a great cut. I explained what I wanted and I was working with a different stylist than usual (my usual was booked and I’d had to cancel). I’m good at explaining what I want because it’s been pretty consistent for a while. But I didn’t get what I asked for and my hair ended up being left longer in the spots that I’d specifically asked for it be be a very tight/short cut. The result is that I’m having to spend about six weeks growing it out before it’s even enough (everywhere) to be able to get back to my preferred style. I could’ve gotten it cut twice in the same amount of time and likely ended up back where I want it to be, but then I’d be spending an extra $50 and I just don’t want to. There were parts of that cut that were very good, just to be clear, and I think this place is a great barber option, it just didn’t go as well on that particular visit.

  Kelsey(who prefers the pronunciation of “Chelsea”) is the only person that cuts my hair since I’ve found Skull & Combs and I won’t go anywhere else. Gianna and Jason are great and make you feel right at home. Awesome place, awesome people, awesome cuts and occasionally an awesome dog!

  Adam gave me a master-cut yesterday and it is clear to me that he is a “master”-barber. Telling me about his journey to his current profession was one of the most interesting stories I’ve heard in a while. Let’s just say its clear to me that Adam is passionate about his job.

  Look, I am a loyal customer to my barber in nyc, I’ve been going to the same place for a while but it just didn’t make sense for me to make a 2 hour trip to get my hair cut like I’ve been doing for 3 years. Yesterday I put the full faith of my hair into someone new, and Adam killed it.

  Thought it was a great cut when I left, woke up this morning and it looked even better. Thanks Adam, feeling like a rockstar today. Keep up the fire work.

  Gentlemens barbershop is the best barber shop I’ve ever been to, and I mean that wholeheartedly. The reason I say that is because of one gentleman that works here his name is Elvin I care about my appearance a lot. It is a huge part of my income, how I look, I’ve been to tons of barber shops, salons, stylists you name it no one matches Elven in terms of attention to detail, sheer talent, precision, caring, patience. And any other Barber I want to get you out of there as fast as possible not him he will make sure everything is perfect to your liking that’s simply because he’s just a really good genuine person., the Amount of talent he shows when I tell him how I want my hair to look and he pulls it off exactly as it is in my mind blows me away because I’ve never seen that before. From any other person who cuts hair? He is the only Barber I will ever go to for the rest of my life. I hate writing reviews. I’ve spent way too much time on this, but credit should be given where credit is due. This guy needs a raise. He should be owning/managing other barbers on how to do it correctly because I have never seen someone put this much care Into hair. There’s a language barrier between us, but he put that much care into my hair The first time I sat down and met him and he didn’t know who I was at all. This is the guy you want cutting your hair, trust me I will put my reputation on the line for that , thank you Elvin…. you’re my barber and my friend for life.

  Today I received a Low blowout with a hot towel Shave by Hugo. He did a great a job, and asked all the right questions during my cut. My only disappointment was the price $50 and he did take over an hour to cut my hair. I normally pay $25 for the same service and takes 40 minutes. Just make sure to ask a price before you cut.
