a week agoMy husband is very basic in what he will pay for in terms of a haircut. After several trips to very underpriced salons, I convinced him to try Floyds. He got the Floyd’s cut and we were both very pleased with the service and professionalism of the stylist. Rayann gave him a great cut (similar to my stylist that charges him $55 in a high end salon). She was professional and friendly and listened to what he/I wanted, and the results were great! We will definitely be going back to see her in the future.2 weeks agoHands down the best haircut I’ve had in a while. I even got a walk-in last minute appointment on Sunday and wa sin and out in 30 minutes! Annie was my stylist professional who offered great conversation and answered every one of my questions. I’m requesting her by name everytime I make my appointments now! Highly recommend this location.4 months agoI had an appointment at one location but they canceled an hour and half before. The gal that informed me of the cancellation said she would call other locations to find an appointment and would call me back but she never did. I ended up calling myself and set different location. The main reason I went to Floyd’s was that I wanted an old school hot lather shave. However was given something else which was basically a electric razor shave. Probably my fault for being clearer. On the up side the hair cut looks good and the gal did take a lot of time making sure I was clean shaven so I tipped her well. Bottom line results were good but the experience was so so. I could have saved myself about $70. They all ways ask “Would you recommend us to someone else?” I am afraid I would have to say no.3 weeks agoLove this location! Brought a photo for a kid cut for my son and it was well done! Just headed back for a back to school cleanup and showed a picture of his previous cut — easy peasy. Looks fantastic! Friendly service at the desk and at the chair!3 months agoMai is fantastic and saved the entire experience with her patience, good communication, and attention to detail. However, my experience with the front desk was terrible. Bad system or just bad attitudes? Maybe both? I’m not sure. Booked online the day prior, confirmed the appt day of. I called 30 minutes before the appt to let them know I was running 10 minutes late, but was immediately asked to be put on hold, I agreed, then they hung up. Showed up for the appointment 8 minutes late and was informed by the front desk lady (in a completely unapologetic manner) that they had cancelled my appointment and I would be treated as a walk-in, might get a cut, might not. Why would you cancel a confirmed appointment so quickly without even trying to contact the person (you have all my info)? Unprofessional and inhospitable.

a month agoHonestly, this was the first hair stylist at any place (no matter the company) I’ve been to that actually knew how to work with curly hair and the products required. I have already gotten so many compliments. Extremely happy!a month agoThe shop did a great job with both a clean haircut and being time efficient. Just like any Floyd’s shop, the anesthetic inside was vibrant. Make sure to make a reservation as they don’t do walk-ins.3 weeks agoIf you want the best haircut around, ask for tru with the blue hair. He’s been a barber for over 20 years, and the experience definitely shows. By far one of the best cuts I’ve ever had.2 months agoAmee M was awesome! I have never had someone spend so much time giving me a haircut. I am used to getting haircuts at the “cheap hair chop shops”. Amee spent more time on my eyebrows than they spend on the entire haircut! Floyd’s and Amee are now my go to for haircuts! And I live an hour and a half away! Thanks Amee… Next trip we will look into that “blue mohawk” that you mentioned! Not sure I can pull that off at 64 years old though… We’ll talk! in the last weekBeen getting my hair cut here for about a year now, and I won’t ever be leaving! It’s only walk ins, which might scare some, but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a cut… besides, before going here I would wait 10+ minutes when barbers were late on my scheduled appointment elsewhere! The service is always friendly, and personable, and all of the barbers are very skilled at what they do. I highly recommend getting a cut here. My dad and I frequent Saturdays morning to catch up and enjoy the morning together before haircut time. They offer wonderful fades, trims, haircuts,etc.2 weeks agoSo these guys can cut hair I’m super particular about how and who cuts my hair. I have to use a real barber because I get razor fades. I have Zaya or Lloyd cut my hair and both give fire haircuts. The dilemma is their hours. I work normally leaving the house at 6am and getting back home around 730pm and they close at 6pm. So no weekday haircuts. They close at 3pm on saturdays and are closed on sundays… so when I am working weekends, my window is very slim to get in. I was just a bit peeved/turned off when I just showed up at 230 on a Saturday and they turned me away saying they close at 3 and they can’t cut. It’s the first place I’ve been that doesn’t follow the policy that no matter what, if you are in the doors before closing you get serviced . The hours were hard to work with before but getting turned away yet again was kind of the last straw. I’m forced to turn away from this business and take my business elsewhere. This is the whole reason I stopped getting my haircut by Jeff Cruz (who is also a dope barber). Jeff was by appointment only and with my demanding schedule, I had to leave his service as well. So classic Colorado barbers lost a client for good. I’m going to test the waters with A+ Barbers. They are also appointment only but they have reasonable hours closing at 8pm. Which is doable for me.With better hours classic Colorado barber shop is simply a 5 out of 5.
With mediocre service Classic Colorado Barbershop is a 0 out of 5 stars.
So I’m torn because they have phenomenal service with sh!t+¥ hours so they get a rating split right down the middle. In My humble opinion they are at best a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
I hope to see more flexibility in their schedule so they can get the 5 out of 5 that they deserve

5 months agoI tried this place out because it was close to home, and I like to keep my money local. It’s a great place, with a great sports theme and a traditional haircut vibe. There are 4-5 chairs, and a comfortable waiting area with a large-screen tv and a very friendly dog, all of which helped pass the time until it’s your turn. When my turn came up, I got Phil. While the end-result was great, he was a bit “heavy-handed” when trimming the back of my neck. In fact, it hurt to the point that I was having trouble containing my feelings. OK, so I should have said something, but I didn’t want to interrupt him while he was doing his job, for fear of putting him on edge. That said, I really enjoyed the old-fashion neck shave, the warm towel, and the vibrator-neck-massage. All-in-all, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, old-fashion, traditional barber experience. Just be sure to give them real-time feedback so that they can tailor your experience to your needs/desires. Thanks guys !
