2 weeks agoMade a same day appointment. Showed up on time. I actually got in to see the Doctor within 5 minutes of my arrival. So refreshing to see a medical office that respects people’s time. The nurses and doctors were all very nice. They addressed my issues fully. Would definitely go again.2 weeks agoRun away from this place. Do not waste your time or money. These “doctors” do not care about helping people feel better.I was tested for Covid by the staff here, and my test came back positive. I was not shocked by this based on how awful I felt. But here is where I was taken back: I was then told they could not give me a steroid shot or any medication at all to help me feel better. “You’ll just have to let this run its course.” And the “doctor” sort of giggled when she said that to me…I didn’t find any of this funny.
After 3 or 4 days of rapid decline in health, I sought medical care elsewhere. I got a steroid shot and steroid prescription to reduce the inflammation in my throat from a different doctor and I’m feeling better. Thanks for absolutely nothing, Piedmont Urgent Care. I can take a Covid test at home.
2 weeks agoI have always had a great experience here even at the height of Covid when they were very busy. This visit was very good – the doctor spent time listening and giving me advice. Good people who care about their patients.3 weeks agoI had great customer service with my nurse. I forgot her name. She was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Short was friendly and he was very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable. Definitely would go back for service.a month agoFar and away the best experience I’ve ever had at an Urgent Care clinic. Clean facility, expedient and convenient processing, pleasant staff. The nurse practitioner who saw me, Tiffany Le, was cheerful, informative, and overall very helpful: I strongly recommend requesting her if you’re able to! If/when I have to visit a clinic again (hopefully not anytime soon), I will go out of my way to come back to this one.

in the last weekAfter scheduling online i was in and out pretty quickly. Nurse and doctor were respectful, thorough, responsive, willing to be flexible and not condescending. They were also confident and competent. They wanted to do some tests; when I said I was self pay they made adjustments without compromising the treatment. Overall it wasn’t too expensive, didn’t take too long. I think they actually figured out what was most likely wrong with me without throwing darts at the wall and giving me things I didn’t need. I don’t like paying too much or taking medications I might not need with side effects.a month agoIt is best to make an appointment ahead of time here instead of walk in. We walked in in the morning and were told it would be a 2+ hour wait, and then offered an afternoon appointment. When we returned for our appointment, we were seen and done in a timely manner. The providers were courteous and patient with my elderly mom who has some dementia. Would recommend when you need an appointment and your regular provider is booked up as that is what our issue was.2 months agoI had the best experience at this place, given that, I was there on urgent care basis. The person at the reception was warm and made the signing in really easy and pleasant. Once inside I found a nurse who attended to me taking vital signs and answering my questions with ease and utmost respect. The whole process went on smoothly and soon I was headed to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription.a month agoVery caring, listened to my issues and explained steps I should take moving forward. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Easy no wait walk-in without an appointment.4 months agoNurse practitioner was great. Front desk person ok, not overly friendly, but fine. Facilities are nice.The biggest issue I had (and is the reason for the bad review) is the reservation process. I looked online to see availability per the website suggestion. I booked a reservation and was at the clinic within 20 minutes of booking my reservation and i was on time for my appointment slot. There were already 5-6 people in the lobby. I waited 55 minutes to be seen. That’s ridiculous. What’s the point of booking a reservation only to wait nearly an hour to be seen? Incredibly frustrating. It seems to me that the clinic purposely shows available appointments even if already booked with multiple appointments. I was also told there’s no priority for people who make appointments versus walk ins. The appointment system from the customer prospective is worthless and in fact deceiving.
The point to customers is to understand this is how online appointments work and they are not for your benefit or helpful to you in any way. So i suggest just showing up and if there are a number of people waiting, then understand you’ll be waiting for a while and consider trying another clinic if too many people are there.

3 weeks agoI was impressed from the moment I arrived. Very clean, warm and inviting. The nurse was so warm and especially helpful. The doc was amazing. She talked to me extensively about my issue, provided a prescription along with other things to do. My time in and out was less than 30 minutes which was amazing. I highly Piedmont Urgent Care!!!a week agoWe are from out of town and had a great experience at urgent care center. We were welcomed in, registered quickly and taken back within 10 minutes. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and helpful, we would definitely come again if needed when in Atlanta.2 weeks agoI originally went to Wellstreet Urgent Care and had an appointment. When I got there there was a sign on the door advising they were closed temporarily. So I drove to Piedmont as a walk in and was seen right away. The staff was amazing. They explained why I was not feeling well and went over my medications that I would be taking. The PA was very knowledgeable and was patient answering all my questions. Marya week agoI made an appointment for 4:45pm and did not see the doctor until 6:10pm so that was very frustrating. When the doctor did arrive she spent 5 minutes with me as it was a very simple diagnosis. I don’t know if i would go back with the other urgent care options in the area.
