My son likes to find haircuts from actors he likes and we use a picture to let the barber know what it should look like. No matter where else we have gone, they have always picked up the razor and done some sort of fade and my son is always disappointed; Here they use the scissors and it has looked perfect! Day of appointment less than 2 hours before scheduled time I was called by Yvonne and told that somebody had walked in at the same time I scheduled online for the same time I had. I needed to reschedule. I called and was told by Autumn, no I had an appointment and she confirmed it. Yvonne then called back and said I needed to reschedule. When I questioned her reason I was just blown off. I work right down the street, so stopped by since I already planned on it. Another barber offered to cut my hair but after being treated like garbage by Yvonne I told her I would rather cut my own hair with a weed eater than give them any of my money. Yvonne has absolutely no people skills. Lucky for Floyd’s they do have others with customer service skills. Would definitely recommend finding any other shop to get any services done. Spend your money where they actually appreciate your business3 months agoAlways a pleasure at Floyd’s! Brought my daughter in after a horrible haircut and Adrianne was wonderful in giving her the cut she actually wanted. She even had time to squeeze me in for a quick cut! I love the music, the atmosphere and their willingness to do whatever it takes to make their customers happy. We’ve been coming here for about 3 years and I don’t plan on leaving any time soon! Thanks Floyd’s team members!5 months agoDo not take your kid to get their haircut here. It was an absolutely horrible experience. Our stylist, Brittany D, walked in acting like she didn’t even want to be there in the first place. She had zero patience and was annoyed that he wasn’t sitting 100% still. Every time he moved, she would throw her hands down and sigh, making some sly comment. She took no time to make a rapport with my child. I should have listened to my gut and walked straight out of there before she even started. This is not my kids first haircut and he has been completely okay at all his other appointments. The stylist a few chairs down had a kid who was upset and she was completely calm and reassuring. I wish I got her name because that is how a client should be treated. If you don’t like or know how to work with children, then just don’t. The haircut was half done and at the end, I didn’t care. I just wanted to get out of there. I have never been more angry with a service I paid for.3 months agoYesterday I booked an appointment and accidentally didn’t choose which barber I wanted to cut my hair, but when I made the appointment it said that Richard (who I would’ve chosen) would be cutting my hair so I didn’t cancel the appointment. Upon arrival I sit down and a pink-haired lady ended up cutting my hair. She gave me the worst taper fade I have ever received in my life. I even showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and it doesn’t even look remotely close.3 months agoI was in the area so stopped by as a new client. No wait, even though the place was hoppin’. Needed a cut and shave. Brandon gave me the royal treatment. Took great care of me, plus he was very personable. Fun guy to chat with. Nice place.

a month agoI recently got a haircut at Peter’s barbershop and I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. The barber skillfully executed a fade, even opting for a skin fade, which caught me off guard as my previous experiences in Dallas haven’t included that level of precision. The barber’s friendly demeanor made the experience even better, and I would definitely consider returning for another haircut. The only hiccup was that I ended up being overcharged, but I’ll take responsibility for not clarifying the price difference beforehand. I had never gone to one place or person consistently until I got my hair cut here the first time. The staff is super friendly. The environment is great and most importantly the haircut is really well done and for a very reasonable price. I have curly hair when it gets long and Viet is the only one who I’ve gone to in the past couple years that has been able to cut it consistently well. I highly recommenda week agoBeen going here for a little less than a year now (about 5 to 6 haircuts) and I can say that the upgrade from the old shop (across the street, around the corner from the Wingstop, facing Arapaho Rd) to the new one is something else! I intermittently went to this barber shop, even when it was the old location across the street, and everytime asked for Peter (the owner/main barber/namesake of the barber shop)! He takes a decent amount of time (not too quick, and doesn’t take too long) and is quite efficient! Ask for him!4 months agoI started coming here a couple of months ago on a referral. The shop is super clean and comfortable whether you are getting a haircut or waiting. They have super nice barber chairs which shows they put a lot of time and effort into making this a good shop for both the clients and barber. I come from a barber family so I get it – These guys have a super good shop and the talent is top notch for whatever style you prefer.I personally get my haircut by James – He does a great job and I would recommend. I’m looking forward to the next cut!
