a year agoI don’t usually write reviews, but the most recent haircut that I got from here was disappointing and damn near unforgivable. It was so bad that one of my work colleagues asked me where I got my haircut so that they don’t make the same mistake of going there.I’ve been to this store a handful of times, have had a different hairdresser each time, and have left incredibly disappointed with the final product more often than not. It has become apparent to me that the majority of the workers here struggle with anything other than a “military cut” (shaved on the sides, trim on top, blended).
I had asked for a 1-2 fade, trim on top, no blend, and comb over to the left. The photos provided in this review is what I got instead.
To make matters worse, the hairdresser had the chair turned away from the mirror the entire time they were cutting my hair so that I couldn’t see the mutilation to my hair taking place. I might have otherwise had an opportunity to stop them before it got this bad, but the damage was already done. It is safe to say that I will not be going back here again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone.
2 months agoEmployees are friendly, they pay attention to detail, and make sure things are done right just the way you like it. I like to get the shampoo and massage gun treatment since I do heavy labor all day. It feels amazing and actually relaxes me. Now I don’t want a haircut from anywhere else!4 months agoI have never been made to feel a stylist that cared so little in my entire life. The amount of time the stylist spent on my cut was less time than the other stylist spent working on the sides of the other customer there at the time. She spent all of 5-10 minutes on my hair and called it done.She clipped my long hair where she buzzed and covered it up with product. The back of my neck is bleeding. She didn’t ask what kind of back I wanted, there was no attempt to fade my hair into my sideburns, there was minimum if any detailing done.
I would rate this the worst haircut experience I have ever had.
a month agoReally bad experience. Stylist was clearly in a bad mood, talking about how much she was over working here and planning on quitting after the weekend. Jabbed at my hair like I was her ex and then upcharged me to a VIP haircut after I entered my $7 tip. The total for a standard haircut with $7 tip is not $37.a month agoIt’s a sports clips there’s not too much to say about it but this location works out very well it’s near everything and the Tanger Outlets Mall. Make sure that you get there early because it gets pretty busy and booked, this is the only Sports Clips in the area that I’ve been able to actually get into and I’ve gotten good haircuts every time

5 months agoI have to figure out the young lady who did my hair. I believe her name was Kiara. She was amazing…no awkward conversation. Just professionalism and a great haircut! I came in wanting layers in my hair, she listened to every detail and I got exactly what I wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.a month agoImpressive job! Clean n professional location. Only drawback I encountered was the cost n how derived. Tips r a given but I don’t like when companies expect so much more that they display choices for u like they did, which was $30 for the basic cut then choices of $7, $10 n $15. That’s a 50% tip for the 3rd choice making it $45 which I find rather high for a 15min haircut. I’m certainly not making $90 an hour these days, although barber school is a new career choice if this keeps up, just kidding.a month agoFor the price perfect. Always got for the MVP treatment. Worth it. They keep all info on file and it is a consistent good haircut. Always present. Price and consistency in these expensive times are really key and they nail it.2 months agoRude workers, fiancé walked in to get his military haircut 35min till close. ONE person in line to be in front of us. They had PLENTY of workers. However was very quick and rude to respond with “we will not see you today”. Sounds to me you don’t want paying customers, and just want to leave right on the dot. Sorry but that’s not how it works in the business industry. Will never go to this location again. Be more professional and productive.3 months agoHad appointment for haircut got there and 15 -25 min waiting after the requested time to arrive . Got the haircut with no enthusiasm no care. Will have to go somewhere else to fix and do a proper and caring job. Just disappointed

a month agoBarber couldn’t really adjust to the change in the design that I wanted. Which was a design that was posted on the shops page. The part design wasn’t outlined sharply. I just ended up cutting my hair over when I got home. And I can’t say it was like that cause I had a low bald fade. Nah. Like I said. I’ve gotten that type of design and cut times before in other states. I wish I could have done a before he cut my hair, and after I went over it, photo upload.3 months agoGreat barber shop with excellent service, my son loves his barber Q. He always keeps him fly with the best designs on the side of his mohawk, he’s more than a barber to him he’s a mentor. Q is hands down the best barber my son has ever had. The work is quick and precise, he’s professional and works around your schedule. Q has always shown kindness and a deep knowledge and love for his craft and it shows in his cuts. Anybody who gets their haircut should understand how important the barber/client relationship is. Since, I first stepped a foot into Celebrityz Barbershop to test the waters, it has been an experience. Q da Barber, from day 1 has been the only one to cut my hair. He did so well, he cuts my son’s hair. Q is personable, positive, good with kids, humble, and creative. My son stays with a new design every cut thanks to the skills of Q. He won’t let anybody else cut his hair neither. My son would rather wait an extra couple days than let someone else take a chance in his hair. In his chair, I am never out of place. There are always conversations on life and how our families are doing. He’s the kind of barber you can imagine when you think of what a barber should be like. Also if you need beard oil or shampoo, he can hook you up with that too.
