2 years agoGood cut and good atmosphere, BUT bad customer service!How so,
Been 4 times each time my barber has had to ask what we were doing and just couldn’t remember how to cut my hair. Great clips takes notes, and remembers! The fourth visit I made to the Hawk the barber said, there was a lunch meet to get to for a friend’s birthday. And won’t have time to wash out and style the cut today. No discount or gift card was offered for the reduction in service. Was as if it was NO BIG DEAL and maybe even a COMMON OCCURRENCE. Went in for the fifth time and the last! I was told to come back or reschedule due to the barber running behind 25 minutes or more. Again, like it’s NO BIG DEAL, to the guy behind the counter telling me. Last but not least you can’t even call the actual shop you are directed to, well not sure where!
Hey maybe they can’t call out either and that’s why they didn’t start calling customers to come later if possible or reschedule.
Or that’s part of customer relations and that they lack.
4 months agoBeen getting my hair cut by Bailey for about a year now, always does a great job! I’ve had to get last minute cuts with others in the shop who also do a great job every time. I’ll always get my hair cut here as long as I live in the area!3 months agoI am graduating this weekend (told the barber why I was there and that it was a big deal to me) and went in just to get cleaned up and was very clear that I wanted a taper. The girl cutting my hair took taper to mean mid/high fade and buzzed the sides of my head so the one time I walk in my life will be with an undercut I didn’t want… I was clear in what I wanted and figured the BARBER would know what a taper is, or at-least ask what I meant since I was clear I just got my hair cut a week prior and barely wanted anything off, and that is not at all what happened. Can’t put in to word how upset I am, years has gone in to this weekend and I have done EVERYTHING I could to make it go smoothly and I would have been better off not getting my hair cut today. She said “ I just do a mid FADE if they don’t specify”.. Well i did specify when I said taper and don’t appreciate it when she makes it sound like I’m the one at fault.a month agoKnowlton is an artist. 2 months agoLoved the cut and atmosphere here! Ana did a great job deciphering my inexperienced preferences and helped guide me to a nice sharp look for my wedding. Really happy with the results and overall experience! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone new to the city like myself! Parking is interesting with construction around there but manageable.8 months agoTook my kids (8) and (14) here for long overdue haircuts. Really cool place with friendly stylists. Erica was awesome with my boys and was able to get them both ready for Xmas photos. I would definitely recommend this place for any age guy looking for a great professional haircut. Waiting area is amazing, welcoming, and has the rustic look which is a fantastic touch. My barber Christine, did an AMAZING job on my burst fade haircut and got my beard & mustache lined up perfectly. 12/10 Christine is the best barber I’ve ever had!

10 months agoI am one of those customers that sits and says what ever just make it look good. No pressure right. Today had to be the best I have looked coming out after a haircut and goatee trim. Mica is, I have to say, amazing. She made getting a haircut relaxing again. I already scheduled my next appointment. My wife said it was the best she has seen. Very clean an professionally maintained.7 months agoStarted going there right after things opened up during the pandemic. Went intially for the haircut but have been coming back for over 2 years for the atmosphere as well. There are a lot of places to get a good cut, but few with as fun and laid back an atmosphere as this one. Each visit is more of an experience than an appointment. Tiffany is certainly my favorite but I’ve gotten cuts from the other stylists as well when schedules get messed up and was never disappointed. Definite recommend.11 months agoListen, I know a lot of people maybe worried about certain barbershops having the ability to cut different textures of hair.You have 100 percent no concern at Knockouts!!
