a week agoThis was my first visit to this clinic. As a walk-in my registration was really simple and I had the option to fill out paperwork or just do it on my phone. I opted to do it on my phone and it was really fast. There were a few people ahead of me but my wait less than 10 minutes. They had quite a few exam rooms from what I could see. Everyone I spoke to seemed to know exactly what they were doing and I didn’t spend more than a few minutes in a room alone. I was done and out the door quickly. I plan to return here if the need arises again.3 weeks agoGreat experience! Faster than any other walk in care facility I’ve used. Came in knowing pretty sure what was wrong and they didn’t make me take any tests like flu, strep, covid just to make a buck off of me which is what happens literally anywhere else. Got the test I asked for and the medicine I needed. Highly recommend for college students!!in the last weekI feel like I dragged myself out of bed sick and also got my son, who was also sick and we get to Urgent Care and the doctor or physicians assistant that we saw didn’t do a single thing to help us feel better! Complete waste of time and energy. She refused to give us even a back up prescription for antibiotics. I asked her to please give us a prescription for an antibiotic in case we get worse over the next week and that would prevent us having to go through coming back in and doing the same thing all over again. They only care about making money and NOT about the actual patients. In fact every single time I’ve ever seen any of their female physicians assistants, they have NEVER done anything to help. The male doctors and physicians assistants all seem to actually do their jobs and treat the patients! If you do go here, I recommend asking for a male doctor. Otherwise don’t waste your time. I’m female and hate having to point out the fact about all this Urgent Care’s female physician assistants/ doctors, but it’s true! So I’m going to warn everyone that goes here about this problem. Patients should come first!a week agoExcellent, compassionate care. Clear information and education on my condition. Useful, usable portal. Responsive via text, in fact GREAT follow-up via text message when I had a question! Couldn’t be more pleased. Wish all my providers were this friendly, caring, and effective!2 months agoLobby was super clean, rooms were nice! Not much of a wait, honestly at the time of day, we were their in and out in about 45 minutes which was super helpful! Staff was great and easy to work with and talk too! I’ll definitely be returning for my Urgent minor emergency needs again.

a month agoAccess in Norman was fantastic. The PA listened to me thoroughly, explain things in a way I could understand, and was very non-judgmental. I was visiting Norman for a training and was a bit nervous going to an urgent care I had not been to. She made me feel at ease.a month agoThe staff at Access Medical Center were compassionate and thorough. Wait time was less than 15 minutes, once checked in. NP Ashley McMains listened to my medical issue and diagnosed it with proper medication. She even offered additional recommendations to complete the necessary future treatment I would need. This to me is a very dedicated and empathetic NP. Although I was in a lot of pain, the visit was pleasant and I left feeling that my medical issue would be resolved with the treatment she provided. I would recommend this facility for urgent care to those young and old.2 weeks agoI was a little put out about having to add the info over the net on my phone in the office, given I was frustrated with my condition and I am 75 years old My daughter filled it out. I didnt have a long wait. The person who saw me was very nice, diagnosed me sent the meds prescription to my pharmacy and I was on my way home. This was a sunday afternoon2 weeks ago10/10! Quick & thorough! Definitely one of my best experiences in an urgent care. Other places just shuffle you in and out. They listened to everything I told them & made sure that they looked at the possibilities. Only place I’ll be going from now on.4 weeks agoAccess was great with my three year old, especially Fetters. 3 weeks agoMy daughter had a terrible experience with the Immediate Care in Norman, OK. After being the only person in the waiting room, and sitting for an hour, she was escorted back to a room to wait for the doctor. The doctor had zero bedside manner and didn’t even address her by name or ask her her the symptoms she was having in person when he came into the room (he just went off of the chart where the front desk put down “sore throat”). He tested her for strep throat, and when that came back negative he basically told her he was not going to test her for anything else (that he is done testing people for Covid) and that she just had some virus going around that he could do nothing for… then he just left the room and left the door open for her to leave. Not only is she not feeling good… She left with the same information she had going into the appointment with the exception of the fact that she knows it’s not strep throat. Such a waste.2 months agoI was in and out for a walk-in drug screening for my new job, and it went fairly quickly and smooth. No hiccups. The staff were nice and helpful, I would recommend if you need to see someone quickly!4 months agoI emailed the sensitive specifics to the Immediate Care of OK website. In short, I went in with what I thought was an infection. I was told it was not an infection. They failed to fill the prescription to help me with spasms as the woman seeing me told me she would. Waited several days with an increase in pain just to be called by the office that I was correct and did have actually two kinds of infections. I didn’t like how dismissive the woman was and how ultimately unwarranted it was — she ended up being totally wrong. I get that happens sometimes, but on top of that, she couldn’t even do her job that she said she would as far as getting the initial prescription for spasms filled. I had to go back to my doctor and do another round of antibiotics because the infection had worsened and the antibiotics sent by Immediate Care failed to treat the infection. It ended up costing me a lot more in labs and medicine than it should have in an already tight time. I hate going to the doctor in any event, but I’ll go somewhere that’ll make me better and not worse.2 weeks agoWe’ve been here multiple times under obviously unfortunate circumstances. Their staff has always been courteous, print, clear at communication and of course willing to assist us in our medical needs.5 months agoOur young daughter needed to see a doctor after hours and everyone here was so good with her! Very friendly staff and helped calm our daughter’s concerns and ours as well. Highly recommend!
