3 months agoKids cut. Emma charged us 30 plus dollars – paid 37 with tip and all for worst kids haircut I’ve seen. Looked good with gel – without gel … which is how kids normally wear their hair it was very very uneven and horrible! Text Emma to have her try to fix it. She scheduled an appointment with me but failed to let me know that she had just quit working at the groom room and moved across town to Westside fades. Not cool. I show up to the groom room and they are willing to fix but only after me waiting an hour listening to “bitch suck my dick” music. Won’t be returning to this place for sure. Won’t be having Emma cut my sons hair again either.3 weeks agoWorst experience…my boyfriend has been growing his hair out 4 awhile now & needed a clean up, so we went in for a long fade and beard trim and came out with a short buzz cut.☹️ He was perfectly clear on wut he wanted done & got the opposite. We r so disappointed. $40 spent on sumthing we could’ve done at home. The staff is all so nice and friendly to what you want and they also have really good ideas! Which helps when you don’t know too much about hair.
But this recent one was absolutely amazing. I asked for a Viking style cut and Melissa gave me exactly that. Super talented. Jess has also been so awesome with knowing how to handle thicker hair.

3 weeks agoI’ve been bringing my two boys to Sports Clips in Redding for over a year now, and I’ve never been more disappointed and frustrated with a service like I was today. My name’s Tracy, and as a father trying to get both my sons’ haircuts before their first day back at school tomorrow, I was met with unprofessionalism and what I can only describe as sheer laziness.Upon entering the store, I was informed that they were not taking walk-ins. I asked if I could wait in case someone canceled, but Brooke, the manager, and her assistant manager teamed up against me, trying to force me to leave the store. I had to defend myself and state the obvious – that the business was open, and they could have a cancellation.
After a frustrating conversation, they realized they couldn’t force me to leave, so I waited. Both of my sons were eventually taken care of, but what I witnessed during my wait was appalling. The manager and assistant manager turned away guests claiming they could not be seen and moved around the shop at a snail’s pace, completing one customer’s haircut in the time it took other stylists to do three.
I have always praised Sports Clips for their service, but today’s experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I am appalled at the poor management and lack of professionalism exhibited by the staff. It’s clear to me that there’s an urgent need for proper management training and a complete re-evaluation of customer service policies at this location.
I’m left with no choice but to rate this experience one star, and I sincerely hope that no other loyal customers have to endure what my sons and I went through today.

Didn’t put much effort into it… could’ve saved 10 bucks and went to great clips. Lesson learned!!!3 months agoWent today to get my son looking sharp for 8th grade graduation tomorrow. He got the man-spa experience and says he’ll only get his hair cut here in the future! Hot towel, scalp massage, TV going… if they had snacks, I probably could have left him there and picked him up when he turned 18.5 months agoTruly the best haircut experts in town! She should go back to school. when I got home to iron curl my hair the right side was 2 inches longer than the left. I just cut it myself to even it out. She didn’t understand layering and didn’t check for even lengths right to left side. Hair grows back so I’ll live but it was the worst cut I’ve ever had there. The people there were friendly and the lady who cut my hair did what I asked for, I showed her examples and she did that, she also gave suggestions according to how my hair was too. She was quick too. She also seemed good with kids as well trying to distracted him and such to cut his hair.
