2 years agoFirst time in a long time I went to a salon and Leslie did a great job cutting my hair with the very little description I had for her of what I wanted, I went back the next day and professionally dyed my hair for the first time and Ana did amazing it came out better than I could have imagined and for less than I was quoted at that!!! I loved it so much I’m taking my son tomorrow!6 months agosupercuts has always had a bad reputation that they do not deserve. A man can go get their hair cut exactly the way they want it cut if they give a good description. It is just like going anywhere else to get your hair cut. I believe they deserve five stars. I had two appts, one for me at 5 & one for my sister at 5:30. We arrived at 4:45 and patiently waited as both (Mary & Karen) were working on people. As soon as Mary finished her person at 5:05, she checks the computer to see appts and asked what we were there for. I said both of us for cuts & shampoos. She then says she can cut but can’t do shampoos and asks if we still wanted the service… Whaaaaaat?! That’s what our appts were booked for. It was now just after 5, nobody else was in there waiting and they close at 7. I didn’t see the problem & couldn’t understand what the issue was other than she just didn’t want to work. So annoyed, I told my sister (who’s handicapped & uses a walker) let’s go. We’ve been repeat customers and couldn’t understand the treatment.Karen who wasn’t even the one that told me that, literally chased me out & told me not to leave, they’ll make it work. I appreciated her effort but was definitely not going to get our hair cuts there after knowing she didn’t want to do it to begin with. I will never go there again! And I will be calling to complain to the Manager about Mary.

I found this place on Google Maps and decided to go with it because of the location and good reviews. I was a walk-in, but they were able to get me seated right away. I felt like I was at a barbershop on Melrose. It was really cool atmosphere, something I didn’t expect to see in Carson. All the barbers were really friendly and professional. I already knew by the way Rene was cutting my hair that he understood what I wanted. It was one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten at a barbershop. I had a great time here, and if I lived here, I’d go back again. As a bonus, Xena the shop dog was adorable!8 months agoI’ve been a loyal customer to Marty since 2014. Tried to hide it by angling the mirror away from the mistake and hoped I didn’t see. Very unprofessional.

5 months agoHad a haircut last night with Erica. She was cool to talk to and cut my hair just how I want. Gracias!!3 years agoGreat shop and friendly. You’ll always be greeted when walking into their shop. Plenty of seating which can fill up quick on Friday’s and Saturday’s. I highly recommend making an appointment for a couple of bucks more but it’s worth it if you’re in a rush. Other than that they will get you in between. They always have the TV playing or someone chatting about sports or what ever current events are popping off at the time. Time flies as your waiting. There’s a vending machine, never used it but I’d ask before dropping a coin in if it’s on. Customer restroom is available and clean. Highly recommend checking them out if you need to get faded up, pay the extra couple of bucks for the appointment.5 years agoGreat haircuts at unbelievable speeds. My first cut was in under 20 minutes and was something better than other cuts I’ve sat 1.5 hours getting. These guys know what they’re doing and do it to perfection.TIPS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE:
-Make an appointment, it will save you time and when you get there make sure the barbers know you have an appointment. Waits can get up to 2 hours long if you don’t have an appointment and barbers must fill in seats with those that have made an appointment prior to coming into the shop.
-Show them a photo of the haircut you have in mind. It helps get everyone on the same page.
-Ask for gel. They style your hair at no extra charge and you might find to like the products they use and sell there.
4 years agoI’ve been going here since I moved to L.A and it’s, by far, the best barbershop with the beat barbers I’ve encountered! Always professional and friendly!The shop is ALWAYS clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Plus, the large screen televisions help pass the time and entertain me while I casually wait to get cut.
My hair cuts are ALWAYS FRESH and my barber, Immanuel has me feeling and looking like a million bucks every time I leave the shop! I have a standing appointment, which helps with my busy life and thankfully, Immanuel is ALWAYS on time, NEVER double booked!!
5 years agoGreat barbershop! Appointments are highly suggested because all the barbers working here are that good. Those in the comments saying the barbers pick friends over walk ins are the cheapskates that don’t want to spend the extra bucks on the appointment fee. Stop being cheap and salty.
