2 months agoProvider: Jonathon This review is for Jonathon, everyone else was very loud and shouting to their music but Jonathon was great. I came in for a beard trim/styling and Jonathon did my beard and he did it A1. Absolutely amazing, took his time made it look amazing he used different size trimmers to blend it and make it look more natural. He took about an hour to make it to perfection. 100% worth the money and I’ll be coming back for sure! If you’re reading this, go see Jonathon. Amazing.4 months agoIf you’re looking for a barber shop to make you feel at home then this is the spot. Diego and his team are always so welcoming and appointments are always filled with great conversation and people.I typically get a haircut and hot towel shave and I have never left feeling disappointed.
Parking is very accessible and the business is easy to find. There is bathroom access in the barber shop with plenty of seating to wait for your appointment. I would recommend booking a few days in advance if you can but there are usually some floaters that can take same day walk ins.
Price is average for the area and competition but you get what you pay for in this business.
I will be a loyal customer for as long as Diego cuts hair!
5 months agoI have been a loyal customer ever since my first visit about two years ago. I like Elevate’s vibe, the music and how welcoming all the barbers are. Henry has been my go-to barber and he does a great job every time. Henry is very professional, dedicated, and knows his profession well. He treats his clients well, he goes out of his way to develop a relationship with his clients and has above standard customer service. And, by mistake I landed here the second time (after mentally taking note that I should never come here again even after the first time)It struck odd that most places were showing 1.5 hrs waiting time and this one showed 5 mins ? – And in the rush if having my haircut I landed here again by mistake.
Staff do not understand what you talk to them, they can’t communicate clearly, plain rude and repeating whatever they say.

a month agoI was hesitant to try supercuts again after having a less than ideal haircut at different location. After coming here i was more than impressed with the results, my only regret is not tipping the hairstylist enough.2 years agoI came here for haircut with an appointment. I told her to do long layers and trim my hair so that i can get rid of my split ends . She did nothing. My hair was same as before.she just did v cut . I asked her 2 times she said i did layers .totally unsatisfied. I used to go to supercuts always when i am in michigan. I recently came to bay area and visited supercuts , but totally unsatisfied. Never return to this place again.10 months agoI’m in California from Florida for 6 weeks. I knew I would need a haircut while being here. I couldn’t be happier. Sammy cut my hair with 100% precision. I wish I could bring her to Florida with me. I give her 5 stars as well as the salon in general. I sent my DIL to her and she was as happy as I am.

a month agoMy stylist, David, quite literally gave me the best haircutting experience of my life. Very reasonably priced when looking at other hair salons. David was extremely detailed and gentle. I will be going back for as long as I live in this area!!5 months agoI have been meaning to write a review of this barber shop tucked away in the Marina shopping center (on the North side close to the Japanese restaurant). I’ve been searching for a barber that consistently gives good haircuts and have been disappointed by just about every place I’ve been since I moved to Foster City in 2014. Even the highest-rated legendary barber shop where you have to know someone to get an appointment wasn’t cutting it. (Pun intended.) That’s why I’m giving this barber shop five stars – Ming really takes his time and does a great job every time; I sense that he has a perfectionist streak. Everyone that works here is friendly. Not everyone is fluent in English but they help each other out with translating and the results so far have been really great.4 months agoThis place doesn’t know how to cut women‘s hair and they charge woman’s haircut much more than a man’s haircut. I am happy to pay for a $60 haircut (nothing fancy just make straight long hair a bit shorter) as long as it’s good. But I got the worst haircut I have ever had. I can cut my own hair and get the same quality. I would pay 5 dollars for it at most based on the quality. $60 is definitely too expensive for an amateur to cut your hair. By amateur I mean they literally have no professional training.It’s a shame that 10 years of experience doesn’t teach you how to cut hair in layers.

These people actually know how to style for your face and head (yes, this is your sign to stop asking for “shorter on the sides” for every haircut and come here instead)Here’s a before and after! (it was better before i had slept face down for an hour). Great stylists, I got many compliments from the Palo Alto aunties downtown LOL
4 months agoI’ve been here recently. It’s super wise to ask for prices on individual services, because it’s different per service. The website does not show it all, heads up. Hair bang cuts are $10 over here. Excellent to bring a tip.
