a week agoOverall the service is quick however two things about our last visit that was a bit sub par. The door says they open at 8 there were quite a few of us at the door waiting to get in. We kept calling to see if we could reach anyone no one answered the phone even thought we knew they were inside as we all watched them go on. They finally opened the doors at 8:15. They have 0 sense of urgency specially getting people checked it it’s a real mosey vibe. One suggestion, implementing and practicing better customer service and people skills would make everyone’s experience a bit better.2 weeks agoAFTON RIDGE location is the worst and the receptionist behind the desk today was RUDE! This is the second time I have been there and she tells me they are not taking anymore patients and it is 7:05pm I said you close at 8pm and there is no one in the waiting area. she says we stopped taking patients at 6:00 pm today. I told her last month when I came you told me you stopped taking patients at 7:00 pm which time is it? She says everyday is different! I said then just close your doors when you stop taking patients! I WILL NEVER RETURN! I guess she has the best job just sitting there getting paid until 8pm. The Doctor also should be ashamed of themselves! There job is to heal people not turn them away! I will take my business to Doctors Plus Urgent care in Concord where the doctors actually care about their patients!!!!3 months agoThe only negative is the 1.5 hours wait for a drug test.Wait room wasn’t really too full. However once I’m in, the staff in the back we’re pretty good. They relayed instructions with clarity. It was otherwise a pleasant experience.
8 months agoUnbelievable. “No appointment necessary” clearly stated on the door. Open until 8pm clearly stated on the door. Upon walking in at 7:30, front desk immediately told me (while also lacking eye contact) when i walked in they aren’t seeing anyone without an appointment. I looked around the room (which no one was in, not a single patient) and asked if there was anyone waiting for an appointment for which they said no, but one person was back there. I asked if they could double check with the provider if I could be seen for a quick thing and after some typing on a messenger system she told me no, sorry. Clearly, there was not ANY communication with the provider. The decision to turn away a walk in patient had been pre-determined. Their rationale about requiring appointments was “well, it depends on if we’re under staffed.” I’m back at my car now and the time is 7:37p. No one waiting in the lobby. The hours on door are open until 8pm. They would not see me because I did not have an appointment. Corporate will be hearing about this. Here’s a photo of the front door signage. p.s. nowhere on the website for this office does it indicate appointment required either.2 months agoCall here and get Sharinda (I think, she spelled it for me really fast, like she wanted me to get it wrong) just hang up until you get someone else. The most rude and mean and careless human.Poor customer service. The one front desk lady is straight mean. I was worried about my health and was crying on the phone. She treated me with neglect and unkindness and I was put into a panic attack where I felt uncared for and like I didn’t deserve medical help. I am a patient. I had treatment there. I told her about all of it. And she had the worst attitude like I was wasting her time.
SHE’LL BE THE DEATH OF PEOPLE!!!!! People won’t want to seek further treatment because of her. She does not belong in Healthcare or anything related to customer service.
The first time I was in, initially, was great. The people that gave me stitches were amazing. And they told me to come back in 7 to ten days for a follow up no appointment needed to remove the stitches.
I called in today (about 8 days after) with concerns and stated I was former patient and the lady I talked to was rude and dismissive and obviously didn’t care about my health at all. My husband was upset after hearing about my treatment and drove me to the urgent care where he politely voiced his concerns that his wife was not listened to and the other receptionist (who he was not talking to rudely interrupted and loudly exclaimed “I wasn’t being rude!”) How would she know he was talking about her if she didn’t already know she was rude.
The other lady was very kind and seemed burdened by her colleague, who was creating a hostile work environment.
Sharinda or Sharinta was horrible to me. And did nothing to try to soothe me or make up for her harsh words. She only stood up for her herself. My husband had to stand up for me because I have bad anxiety disorder and panic disorder…. people who don’t have that would just be bullied by her.

in the last weekI waited 2 1/2 hours before I saw a provider. Then provider came into the room asked what I was there for I told her that I had a sinus infection /upper Respiratory she spent five minutes, looking at my throat, nose and said there’s no infection. I can call you in a steroid. I was out of town visiting so I spent the whole weekend miserable then came home Monday to where I went to another urgent care which, in fact said. that I had an upper respiratory infection. I don’t even think your facility deserves one star to be honest .I’m in the health care industry myself an adult woman and I think I can I know when I’m sick. Honestly to wait 2 1/2 hours to see your provider on a Saturday when your visiting ,should tell you there’s A problem. Poor bedside manner!a month agoUnfortunately had to visit for cellulitis and abscess on back to back days. The staff was awesome! On the second day, I used the appointment reservation system which was great (although my walk in wait was less than 90min which is pretty good, as I work at an urgent care myself). I’m thankful that Atrium offers this service where my PCP can see my prior visits in the system. Kudos to the team! Highly recommended for great and compassionate care.a week agoI was told after being sick with a fever for over a week to wait 3 more days and come back in if fever still was there. Let me clarify, yes I went 2x in a week. I waited 5 more days bc I was that sick and the MA that did triage was absolutely as rude as can be, yelling at me bc I couldn’t answer everything she was asking bc I couldn’t breathe. The provider (NP) dropped the thermometer bc I coughed near her direction unintentionally but it happened and she backed up and acted as if she was afraid to even examine me properly. I was told after 2 weeks with a fever over 102, everything lab wise was negative but it still must be viral so no antibiotics. She then tells me she can give me a prescription for mucinex, if that’s the case then what virus lasts over 2 weeks causing a fever for that long? Then to tell me viruses don’t turn into sinus infections and sinus infections don’t cause fevers is absolutely the dumbest thing I’ve ever been told bc I know good and well they do bc I’ve had sinus surgery in the past for this! I was also asked why I had not already gone to an ER or not seen my pcp, I tried but couldn’t get an appt for over a month and not that it is their business at all!! There were some other remarks made as well and apparently bc I am white today was not the best day for me to go there, the remarks that were made to me in the triage room, she kept trying to shut the door and after the things she said to me I was not comfortable with that so I kept opening it back and finally asked her not to close the door again. Then, after I am taken from Triage to an exam room, I heard her saying things outside of the exam room door to multiple people. My Hipaa rights were violated along with many other issues here and for what exactly, to be told I have had a virus since 8/24 that’s caused me a fever of over 102 every single day but did not tell me what virus is causing this and what to expect just that it isn’t covid or the flu. So when I have to miss more work and can’t even move next week again I guess I just don’t need to bother getting any help bc I won’t be able to. She ruled out what it was not but is failing to explain to me what is causing me to have a fever and be this uncomfortable for this long.Gonna add to this, I left and went to Novant and was given yet another chest xray and other imaging that my insurance will be now billed for twice in one day. They admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, dehydration and as much as it sucks bc it’s further away but at least now I will be given the correct and proper treatment.
a week agoI cut my finger rather badly and went to Atrium Urgent Care. It was bleeding oretty badly they triaged me as soon as I got there then took me to the exam room and began to take care of me and got me all stitched up. They were very professional and also very personable. I was so pleased with the visit and recommend them to anyone who needs to go to an urgent care .2 months agoI came into the Urgent Care in Concord, at Gateway, and was taken back quickly, as I had an open wound and take blood thinners. Everyone there treated me with compassion, professionalism and the utmost care possible. It was very apparent this entire staff enjoyed helping people. I was impressed with my total experience. I live 45 minutes away, but now know where to receive the best care possible when my normal Atrium Care Team in Stanly County is unavailable. Thank you all for excellant care.

a month agoI love my doctor and staff. They are always always very nice and sincerely care about you and your health. They will work with you in anyway they can to make you better. The front desk nurses make a point to know you and call you by name when you enter. Thank you to the staff and doctors. Especially Dr. Cody and his staff. I recommend to everyone I know that does not have a family doctor to come and meet you all at Cabarrus family medicine. Have a bless day, God bless!a week agoI have been going to Atrium Health Primary Poplar Tent for years now. I have never had a bad experience or a complaint. From the wonderful front desk staff, to the medical assistants and nurses. I would like to make special mention of RN Milton, who works with Dr Cody. He is a gem! Dr Cody is a fantastic doctor. He listens, he is kind, and he takes the time to explain things. Thank you for the years of excellent care! 🙂a week agoAll of the staff are wonderful! Very welcoming & engaging. Dr Moshtaghi is superb! He is compassionate, kind & talks to you in a way that you understand any findings or suggested procedures. He is very thorough!a week agoI love Dr. Gentry Atrium CFM Poplar Tent! They treat you like a person and not a number. Dr. Gentry takes your input into consideration before deciding how to treat you and even let’s you be a part of the decision making process. She has been my cheerleader through some tough health issues which made it just a little easier.a week agoDr. Pant is an awesome physician, she always listen to the issue with emails and then explain why uts happening and how can it be controlled. She gives her dull attention to her patients, I have stwiched over the entire family in her care. Faculty is also very professional each time I walk in and take care of our questions right away.

- Online Search: One of the quickest and most convenient ways to find a 24-hour clinic is by conducting an online search. Simply type in “24-hour clinics near me” or “urgent care near me” along with your location, and you will be provided with a list of clinics in your vicinity.
- Local Directory: Check your local directory, either in print or online, for a list of clinics that provide 24-hour services. These directories often include contact information, addresses, and sometimes even reviews from previous patients, helping you make an informed decision.
- Ask for Recommendations: Reach out to friends, family, or neighbors who live in Concord, NC and ask if they have any recommendations for 24-hour clinics. Personal referrals can be valuable in finding a trustworthy and reliable clinic that meets your needs.
- Contact Local Hospitals: Many hospitals have emergency departments that operate 24/7. If you are in need of immediate medical attention, calling a local hospital and asking for information on their emergency services can help direct you to the right place.
Once you have identified a few 24-hour clinics near you in Concord, NC, it’s essential to consider other factors before making a decision. These may include the proximity to your location, the services provided, the qualifications of the healthcare professionals, and any additional costs or insurance requirements.
