I’ve been going to City Barber for about 9 months and I recommend them all the time to anyone looking for a haircut, beard trim or just a little self-love. I’ve had cuts from most of the barbers there and most recently my cut from Christopher Lee garnered the most compliments on my hair than I’ve had in a while. He was personable, professional, thorough and just overall did a great job. I know he’ll be my first choice for my next cuts as well!

Not much hair left on my head these days… 4 kids and 70 years of life took it’s toll… But I started a beard a few months back – and soon realized it required some grooming help, too, just like a full head of hair… So I visited City Barbers for the first time yesterday… And wow – what a great experience!! Austin did a great job of listening to what I was wanting/hoping to do, and then did a great job not only of cleaning me up – but sharing a few tips so that I could keep things “respectable” between periodic visits back to see him…

The place was very clean, they were on time, and everyone was friendly. 5 stars across the board!!!

Got my hair cut by Ace and I can absolutely say it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had! Highly reccomend getting your hair done by Ace if you have a medium length hair or longer hair. Great experience and great environment. Definitely will come back.

I was gifted a straight razor blade shave and it dazzled me! I’ve never had something like that done on me and if you haven’t, you need to experience it.

With it being my first time, Juice, my barber, was patient with me and explained all the ins and outs of getting a shave. His attention to detail in both explanation and the service itself exceeded my expectations.

From the hot rags, to the gentle facial massage, in addition to the shave, brought relaxation to a whole new level. The service lasted roughly and hour and we’ll worth the price.

I hope to be back in the near future.

Sean of City Barbers is my go to barber, here in SLC. As a transplant here in Utah, finding a skilled barber who can work with my hair has been tough. However, I was lucky enough to come across working with Sean who knows how to tailor your haircut to what you are looking for. The thing I love about him is that he even gives me feedback between what I want and what he think would look good. It’s refreshing to have someone who cares as much as him, while still being having someone who is professional and easy to talk to, making the process and experience well worth the money.

Mahalo again Sean! You’re the man!

Weird experience here today. Needed a last minute haircut. Did not need much and asked for a high fade and to leave length on top the same, maybe just blend it in.

Person shaved my side burns off and told me she was done after about 8 minutes.

Long story short, i had to get 2 haircuts today to fix that. Wish I mentioned it in the store so I wouldn’t be out $30

Good value. Not necessarily the best haircut I’ve ever received but worth the price.

I won’t come here again. I checked in. I got a text saying I was next in line. I waited 35 minutes. My appointment was canceled as I sat there. I have no idea why. I wasn’t involved in the cancellation. Two people went ahead of me even though I was clearly first in line (on the board). An employee asked for my name. I told her. She said ‘Did the system kick you off?’ I guess so I said, I was first in line. Sorry, she said as she took another person who was behind me in line.

I will not go anywhere else to have my hair cut. Every barber I have had was nice, and then you end up getting your own barber and it’s great. 11/10, cannot recommend enough. Sometimes the line can be longer and sometimes it is short, but that’s the experience of it all. I love it. It’s also only 10 dollars a haircut so I highly encourage tipping, they deserve it.

The lady that cuts my hair is same one I use every cut. They all can cut hair well. I have had all cut my hair at least once. Well worth $10. Don’t forget to tip the stylist , if they did a good job on the haircut ! $5 tip is well worth it !

It’s a walk-in barbershop where you take a number and wait for the next available barber. The cost is $10 for a basic cut, $14 for the fades. The cost is kept low so that you will tip the barber according to how well they did. I tip mine $10 so my total cost was $20. That is half of what other places charge for the cut alone and it was a great haircut. I recommend this place, but don’t forget to leave a generous tip.

The experience and Stylist was 5 star great! Stylist often would ask for our inputs to confirm with BOTH mom and child of our personal preferences throughout the progress of the cut, assuring customer satisfaction. Pricing is most cuts starting at $10. Fair and reasonable Mohawk Cut for us on this visit was $14. I was drawn in to this location because of it’s barber shop atmosphere. They even offer hot shaves which I believe to be a luxury not many places have as available service. One thing to know before going is they accept CASH ONLY and they close at 5:30 PM.

Mens Haircut in Salt Lake City UT

When visiting a barbershop in the United States, there are several important factors to consider to ensure you have a positive experience. Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Location: Choose a barbershop that is conveniently located for you. Consider proximity to your home or workplace to make it easier to fit appointments into your schedule.
  • Reputation: Research the reputation of different barbershops in your area. Read online reviews and ask for recommendations from friends or family members who have had good experiences.
  • Services: Consider the specific services you need from a barbershop. Not all barbershops offer the same range of services, so make sure they can accommodate your haircut, grooming, or styling needs.
  • Barber’s Experience: Find out about the experience and expertise of the barbers at a particular shop. Look for barbers who have a long track record in the industry and specialized knowledge in the types of haircuts or styles you are interested in.
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness: Take note of the cleanliness and hygiene practices of the barbershop. A clean and well-maintained environment is essential for your comfort and safety.
  • Atmosphere: Consider the overall atmosphere of the barbershop. Some people prefer a relaxed and quiet environment, while others enjoy a lively and social atmosphere. Choose a barbershop that aligns with your personal preferences.
  • Price: Understand and compare the pricing structure of different barbershops. While you don’t necessarily have to choose the cheapest option, make sure the prices are reasonable and fit within your budget.
  • Appointment availability: Check the barbershop’s appointment system and availability. Look for a shop that offers convenient online booking or flexible scheduling options to make it easy for you to secure a time slot that works for you.

By considering these factors, you can ensure that your visit to a barbershop in the United States is enjoyable, comfortable, and meets your specific grooming needs.

The Ultimate Guide to Men’s Haircut Prices in the U.S

When it comes to getting a haircut, many factors influence the price you’ll pay, especially in the United States. While the average cost of a men’s haircut hovers around $29, this number can fluctuate based on various considerations like your location, the expertise of the stylist, and the complexity of the haircut you desire. This comprehensive guide aims to break down these variables and offer tips on getting a quality haircut without breaking the bank.

One of the primary factors affecting the cost of a haircut is the location. Whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area can significantly impact the price you’ll pay at the salon or barbershop.

Average Cost of Men’s Haircuts by Location

Location Average Cost Range
Urban areas $30 – $40
Suburban areas $25 – $35
Rural areas $20 – $25

As evident from the table, haircuts in urban areas tend to be the most expensive, with prices potentially going even higher in high-end salons in major cities. In contrast, rural areas offer the most affordable options.

If you’re searching for affordability, chain salons and barbershops are good alternatives. Students can often take advantage of discounts to further minimize costs.
