Definitely recommend Gal if you’re shopping for a new stylist! She’s amazing, so kind and so patient!! And she is great to bounce hair ideas and needs off of!!
2 years agoKristie made my dream of becoming a blond come true. She is extremely professional and kind. She helps you not only achieve the hair you want but also shares tips and tools that you can use to keep your hair looking healthy and shiny. I appreciate that she worked with my hair as it is very frizzy and thick. My hair feels so soft and smooth now. I would highly recommend you come to get your hair done by Kristie because she is absolutely amazing and when you show her a picture of what you want she goes above and beyond to make your hair look exactly like the photo! I love Kristie she is definitely the best!a month agoI had such an incredible experience here! Diana was so incredible! She truly transformed my hair and I will definitely be returning!a month agoWow where do I start. My stylist Kristie was amazing. It was my first time dying my hair in over a decade and she made me feel comfortable and walked me through the whole process. I have her an idea of what I pictured and she made it come to life. It came out better then I could have imagined. She was so sweet and patient. I highly recommend. I’ll be back. ☺️2 years agoI’ve been getting my hair done by Kristie for the past year and she has been amazing! She was very detailed for my balayage and spent a ton of time working through each piece. She is always very friendly and I recommend her to everyone!

2 months agoEdith cut my husband’s hair and it looks fantastic. She was quick and did an amazing job. The shop itself was really nice, it seemed like we were the first in for the morning and everyone seemed genuinely excited to see us there, it was a very inviting atmosphere overall.2 months agoI got cut by MG he took care of me quick, definitely one of the best barbers out there. Castle barbershop has been my go to for years, it’s always a good vibe walking into castle barbershop. Best barbershop for sure.a year agoI brought my son here for the first time and let me tell YOU..MG is the BEST. He set the bar high. So much attention to detail and really took his time to perfect the cut. He made sure my son was comfortable and checked on him during the process and it made me worry free the whole time.Now..the end results..superseded my expectations. My son and I can’t stop looking at his hair cut. It’s just Perfect.
Thank you MG for your expertise and will very come back for your services!
2 months agoBarber was running 30 mins behind, didn’t communicate that to anyone, then rushed my cut. Fade was uneven, line up of my beard was curved on one side and straight on the other, not sure if it’s standard practice but the barber didn’t use any shaving cream or gel when straight razoring. The line up was just straight razor to skin and now I have razor burns on my face.( the barber used a cream. The first time I got a cut from him) this is the First time I’ve gotten burns in 15 years. I would recommend never letting one customer cut into other customers appointment. Communicate the timeline to your customers when they are on time and you are running behind. The barber that cut me is talented but he did rush it and now I have to deal with the mistake.3 months agoGreat ambiance but my after looking at my cut once I got home and washed it… It was absolutely garbage. A blind person could have cut it better. Completely uneven and all over the place. I now look like Bert from Bert and Ernie. Would not come back. Save your money on the over priced cut from someone obviously straight out of barber school.

in the last weekI really like this place! They do a great job and the scalp massage is amazing. The chairs are comfortable and the place is clean and bright. The only thing I would change would be the pricing. It is really high, and after a $6 tip on a men’s haircut, it comes out to $36. Maybe offer a haircut that doesn’t include a shampoo, scalp massage and hot towel for your face. That would help lower the cost for those who can’t afford as much.a month agoI walked in the door a few minutes before 6pm. The office hours are posted as 7pm. 2 stylist working with nobody waiting. I was asked if I checked in online, sadly I had not. I was told very matter of factly “we are timed out” I wasn’t sure what that meant so I asked the stylist what she meant. Her reply was much clearer this time (insert irony) “we are timed out”. Still confused I politely inquired, what does that mean. Her reply was much clearer “if you’re not checked in online then you don’t get a cut today. We are too busy” confused I looked around at the empty lobby and was considering asking another question but she had already dismissed me from her mind and moved on the more Important things. Oh well, I guess they aren’t interested actual customers. I should note, in the time it’s taken me to write this review 30min has passed, I’ve enjoyed a great smoothie form next door and low and behold, their lobby is still empty…4 months agoUpdate 4/25/23- called by management and Tina explained why I was charged. It was an error on a new employee, which is fine, we are human. I was offered compensation for a haircut, which I appreciated. It’s not very often, post COVId, businesses will reach out to you personally when there is an error. I will give it another go around. It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review because I’ve been coming here pretty solid since I’ve moved to the area. I get my hair cut here along with my two boys. However, a week ago I got a haircut before I went out of town for work, and I noticed when I was out of town that the stylist who cut my hair completely missed spots on the top of my head that were considerably longer than other spots and not at all consistent with a haircut. When I got back into town today I decided to go get it fixed. I’m never really one for calling out somebody who messed up because it happens and I understand that. So I came in and Brittany fixed my hair. Everything was fine until I was told that I was charged $12 to get it fixed. That completely baffles me. I made sure to indicate the reason I was in was to get it fixed and it was also told to me that it was not correct, but I was still charged. Maybe I’m completely in the wrong but if you go somewhere and the service is not performed correctly, or inaccurately, and you come back to get it fixed I don’t feel that you should be charged to have that fixed. So now I have to start to search for a new place because clearly this is not the place it was expected to be.
a month agoI’ve taken my son here probably 3 times. And every single time I show a picture and I get hit with some kind of attitude. I tried liking you guys but I’ve had it with the poor customer service from women who are supposed to be providing customer service. We even came first thing to avoid long lines. Such a horrible place to go to.5 months agoSame Sport clips issue. Will take a bunch of online check ins that are not on time leaving you waiting with hairstylist just standing around simply still awaiting for the online check ins that are not even at the location. And seems like the hairstylist are more into socializing than actually considering there’s a few people waiting.

The Ultimate Guide to Men’s Haircut Prices in the U.S
When it comes to getting a haircut, many factors influence the price you’ll pay, especially in the United States. While the average cost of a men’s haircut hovers around $29, this number can fluctuate based on various considerations like your location, the expertise of the stylist, and the complexity of the haircut you desire. This comprehensive guide aims to break down these variables and offer tips on getting a quality haircut without breaking the bank.
One of the primary factors affecting the cost of a haircut is the location. Whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area can significantly impact the price you’ll pay at the salon or barbershop.
Average Cost of Men’s Haircuts by Location
| Location | Average Cost Range |
|---|---|
| Urban areas | $30 – $40 |
| Suburban areas | $25 – $35 |
| Rural areas | $20 – $25 |
As evident from the table, haircuts in urban areas tend to be the most expensive, with prices potentially going even higher in high-end salons in major cities. In contrast, rural areas offer the most affordable options.
If you’re searching for affordability, chain salons and barbershops are good alternatives. Students can often take advantage of discounts to further minimize costs.
