a month agoVivian was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!I’ve been a long time customer of Sports Clips and never complained or had a problem.
But the other day I went into this location for a haircut in Midland, TX.
Vivian was my stylist. She rushed the haircut and completely ruined it. My bangs were shaped like a W??? She didnt give me a fade like I requested. I had LOTS random missed patches of uncut haircut all over my head. My neck line was crooked. She trimmed the hairline around my ears uneven and one of them was WAY TO HIGH. It was just a sloppy and very unprofessional job. I looked like a child had cut my hair.
I returned 30 minutes later to have them try and fix it. The other stylist that fixed my haircut informed me that Vivian does this alot because she trys to get in more haircuts than anyone else. So it’s a known issue here! They even wanted to take pictures of how bad it was to show the manager but she said they didn’t want to hear about it from Vivian later.
The end result was a SIGNIFICANTLY shorter haircut than I wanted but it was the only way to try and cover up all her errors.
The manager refused to give me a refund for the haircut. I’m shocked this is how they treat long time customers. I paid $46 for a haircut I never wanted and was embarrassed of. I’ve been wearing a hat everyday since. They only wanted to offer me a free haircut next time as if I would ever trust them to cut my hair again! RIDICULOUS.
And like I said before, it’s a known issue that Vivian is sloppy and rushes but they still refused to refund me for this butchered hair cut and terrible experience.
This is the only time I have ever requested a refund. Unbelievable! I’ll never be back to this location again and I’ll make sure all my friends know how they treat long time Sports Clips customers here.
a year agoWe drive 40 min to come here because they are a mens haircut establishment. However this was the worst butchered job my son has ever gotten in the 7 years he’s been getting haircuts and many at this location. They really need to screen potential stylists before allowing them to represent them!! My son has class pictures coming up and this was what she did. My husband said things during and finally just had to stop her before she made it any worse. This was done 1-29-22.a week agoPlace Lost Rachelle then Lost Tamara. Straight downhill now. They need new management. Tamara was the only professional left and now she is gone.a month agoHorrible, my hair got messed up and it was nothing out of this world just 2 on the side and scissors. It just cheaper that’s all that’s good, 6 dollars is the bare minimum for tip Tho, right on the ipad.5 months agoWas a little nervous at first, just moved here but ALYSSA did a bada** job. My hair cut came out good ! Make sure to request her ! I’ll be back weekly!

a week agoI’ve never left a google review for a barbershop before I went here. I was hesitant to get my haircut but I am honestly glad I did it. I had an appointment at 1:00, arrived at 12:55 and had no wait at all. Breeanna cut my hair today and she was by far the best barber I’ve had in Midland. They have a discount for military/LEO/firefighter on W/TH for $15 which was awesome! I let her know exactly what I wanted (medium fade w/ a trim on the top) and she did it perfectly. She was also extremely friendly and made great conversation. She gave me an awesome haircut! If you’re looking for a professional barbershop with great service I recommend you go here.2 weeks agoThis shop is so cool! Serenity cut my picky son’s hair and he loved it. She listened to what he wanted, was efficient and did a great job. We will definitely be coming back to see Serenity.2 weeks agoSerenity has been cutting my hair for a year. She is patient but is also fast and efficient. I’m not a patient man and Serenity gets me in and out in a hurry, with the exact haircut I wanted. I haven’t had one bad experience with her!2 months agoAces & Eight barbershop is a great environment and has even better service. Just $25 for an amazing high-quality haircut. All employees are professional and nice. I recommend Breeanne, she is easy to talk too and gives great input if you are not totaly sure of what you want. Thank you for your amazing work.a month agoI usually love this barbershop. However we did not have a very good experience with Christabelle this morning. First I showed her a picture of what I wanted then explained that I did not want the fade up so high. Basically wanted a low temple and neck fade…or.low taper/whatever. Ended up getting a high bald fade because she messed it up…what irritated me is the fact that I had my stepson booked with her also, but she told me she is too busy to cut his hair and I would have to get someone else. She literally said ” I’m like 9 people behind”… yeah, whatever…..I don’t understand because was very patient about this and we were scheduled with her not.anyone else…it’s probably good.thing we got.abother to cut his hair however If your barbers are this lazy I would have a talk with them. This kind of stuff is what makes you not.want to visit a particular place EVER…. I should have refused to pay but we did. I feel that she just wanted to rush us out… not very professional. If you don’t have time to take time on someone’s hair then why are you a barber in the first place??? Honestly?!

3 weeks agoI usually stay away from chain barbers but mondays all the good barbers are closed, so I figured I’d give locker room a try. I should have stayed away. I first went in and was not greeted by anyone and had no idea I needed to sign up on the tablet. When I did sign up for a cut, I chose the highest choice for $28 to which I had no idea what the $5 difference would change in my cut due to no postings of services they offer. Once I sat down I asked for a skin fade on the sides and cut half the length off the top. The haircut turned out alright despite the many times I was nicked with the blade. My barber was in a constant rush and constantly running to her phone as soon as it had a notification. Once it came to my beard I asked for the length to be 1” long. It appeared good until I got home and realized one side was cut in about an inch and the other side not cut in at all. My beard has never looked so bad before. Among the many times her blade caught my skin and lip she never apologized and just kept rushing along. Once she was done she offered a shampoo and I asked about the different priced cuts considering I chose the highest priced one, but didn’t seem to be receiving anything different. My questioning didn’t jog her memory that I chose to have the extras. When I paid she made a remark about tipping while watching over the decision I made on the machine. She did downgrade my cut to the cheaper one, but without asking. Turns out she was in this big rush cutting and messing up my hair/beard to run outside to a friend. Seems like her priorities are a bit skewed but if you enjoy losing customers then enjoy what you earned. I Will not be coming back.2 weeks agoI highly recommend! You can get a free beverage while you wait, that’s cool.9 months agoVery quick good cut for a great price. Spent $23 to get my hair cut and shampooed and it took under 20 minutes. Was quicker than the posted wait for the cut and very nice customer service. Was in and out in under 30 minutes.
